According to WTOV9 Wellsville Locals have had enough, and with the help of the Wellsville City Counsel plans have been made to close the park down for good. Starting February 29th 2017 cement trucks will be filling in barriers at all entrances of the riding area. Along with the barriers East Liverpool Police officers have agreed to watch the area, and anyone trespassing will be hevily ticketed along with possesion of their vehicle taken from them. In attempt to stop this grand gesture a petiotion has been started by a seasoned rider of the pits Mike L. who says quote "I have been riding in these pits since 1927 this is a bunch of crap".
