The name of school will now be The University of Texas at Lubbock. The school Mascot has been changed to the bulls. Keeping the tradition of Hook em Horns alive and well in the Panhandle. We are at great sadness to see such a great football as well as other sports rivalry end. It was just the right decision for both university's. For the first time in my life (jokingly) I will say Gun's Up, Wreck em Tech, and God Bless Texas. So much to look forward too in Lubbock for 2017."
