West Seattle, WA- Locals were startled as they stumbled upon what seemed to be a rubber boa. The small snake is known for tricking those who come across it with its double-head illusion. The adaptation of the snake makes its tail look like another head. The snakes have been making a decline in Washington, but perhaps they're starting to make a comeback. The snake is not venomous, but it will attack if it feels threatened. The snakes camouflage themselves, so be careful when trekking any beach trails. This rubber boa was spotted on the west trail at Lincoln Park, heading down to the beach.
