Big foot spotted in Nelson County on July 5th, 2017. Officials reported that while two hikers were hiking on the Appalachian trail they both saw big foot. Both hikers reported to hear branches breaking behind them while hiking and noticed there was a foul smell in that particular area. They were able to snap a picture of big foot. Officials say they are still investigating and looking into this sighting.
