A press release from the White House states that President Trump has scheduled a trip to economically depressed Southeast Kentucky. The President will make stops in Bell, Harlan and Letcher counties. Trump when speaking about Bell county said "the drug problem is really really bad. We are going to look into it and help these folks. They deserve better"
The President's main focus seemed to be Bell county. The press release list some topics Mr. Trump was going to address in the county. "The roads are falling apart, the drugs are all over the place and the job market is nonexistence." Trump Said.
"We are going to make it better and it will start with my meeting with the elected officials." Trump went on to say.
As of yet the actual date for the trip has not been set. The White House is still contacting officials in each county to schedule the date.
