HAMBURG, Germany - Scientists at the Mueller Center for Medical Studies have concluded that lab rats prefer the music of the Beatles to that of the Rolling Stones.

The study was carried out over a six-month period where two groups of mice were put through mazes while alternately being subjected to the songs of the 1960s rock groups.

Mice that were listening to the Fab Four performed more efficiently than those listening to the Stones.

The "Beatlemice" experienced love and peaceful feelings, while the Stones' mice were much more aggressive.

Some of the mice have now gone to live with Keith Richards.

"You can type anything and make it look real," said Dr. Fargus MacGillicutty.
