LOCAL BOY CATCHES RECORD MUSKIE

Local boy catches state record Muskie at Raccoon State Park. This 12 year old boy from Midway, PA, whos parents don't want his identity to be released, was fishing with his parents over the weekend. He was using only minnows as bate when he started screaming I got a snag. He struggled with it for over an hour when he realized that he actually had something big on his line. Muskie are known to be in Raccoon Lake, but none have been caught of this size that anyone knows of. The total length of the fish was 52 inches long. The boy wanted to keep it as a trophy but his parents told him to let it live.
