Imagine you awake from your previous but causal relaxed South Florida vacation to take a leisurely stroll on the beach. The rays of sunshine beam on you, gently warming your face. The same sunshine that millions flock to for vacation. However today is no ordinary day. As you glimpse into the sun rising, you spot dark ships in the distant horizon. This appears to be the setting of North Korea's most current and botched plan as a North Korean submarine was spotted today off the treasure coast near Ft. Lauderdale. Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis confirmed in a press conference today that this was in fact the case "We don't want to make the mistake as in 1942 where credible information was disregarded however this was clear and undeniably observed by many" Sec Def Mattis states. "There is no need for panic or people of South Florida to worry" Mattis states in his stern Generalesk tone. Sources of Defense have confirmed this to in fact be the case when numerous people reported a submarine in the waters off the coast. More likely was that of many submarines that head to the Bahamas for sonar ground and testing, this was different in that it was a North Korean submarine. Some have speculated that it was surveillance for a beach invasion, but what's more is why was it all the way over here in South Florida? Mattis has explained that sources are aware and investigating the issue and it was located, watched to continue deep into international waters. Mattis was unclear on his explanation as to why it was here or why it was unknown to them prior to arriving. One thing he did make clear was this was not an incident for people to be concerned with. We spoke with one beach goer who is down from New York, Nick Prescott. Nick stated that it was erie earlier today when his wife and him observed numerous FEMA trucks heading south on Interstate 95. He believes that this had something to do with the North Korean submarine. Sources did confirm that President Trump arrived later in the afternoon to be transported to his second white house at the Mar-A-Lago plaza.
