Once, an unknown actor/producer, Roberto Del Toro, (cousin of academy award winner, Benecio Del Toro) has signed a 3 picture deal to star, produce and direct with the famed Wong Chu Production Co., a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Wong Chu president John Chi "discovered" Del Toro in an independent film " Torn From Innocence", which had been screening underground and on the internet throughout Asia for several years. He portrayed a "Captain" in the human trafficking themed film. Del Toro will be the first Puerto Rican American to star in 3 consecutive Chinese produced films.
