32 year old Bradley Schmidt of Ludowici, GA was arrested during an armed robbery of Parkway Pawn in Hinesville GA. At 11:02a.m. today Bradley Schmidt went into Parkway Pawn to pick up his assault rifle from layaway. This was the point when the owner walked to the back of the store for a moment. When owner Josh returned to the lobby he was greeted by Mr. Schmidt with his assault rifle loaded. An off duty Sheriff officer was coming to pick up his layaway and upon seeing what was going on drew his weapon and took control of the situation demanding Mr. Schmidt to the ground at gun point untill authorities arrived. Mr. Schmidt was successfully arrested and transported to Liberty County Jail without incident.
