The current Mayor of Vandiver Al. Brandon Howard was arrested late Friday afternoon for allegedly harassing two ladies in his community.
It has been rumored that Mayor Howard has insinuated over social media that one Mrs. Darlene Isabell was involved in illegal prostitution and that her sister Mrs. Cynthia Lynn was involved in an improper relationship with a local man only known as Mr. D.
As of this afternoon Mayor Howard is being detained in Vandiver jail with no bond pending farther charges.
We have obtained a statement from his attorney, Mr. Boyd Lynn from the law office of Do, We, Cheatem, & How, stating that the charges will be contested and he is certain that justice will be prevail.
