President of Disney Plus, Ricky Strauss said the large amount of people streaming Hamilton has caused the entire system to shut down. “To prevent a crash that would hurt the whole program, we have decided to pull Hamilton from the line up” Strauss stated. Strauss was unclear if Hamilton would ever make a return to Disney Plus again.
