Early Monday morning two fishermen, Mike Herling and Daniel Reese, spotted what they thought looked like a fin. Upon closer inspection, they were startled to find they were right. The men spotted a bull sharks. DNR believes the shark made its way up the Echeconnee Creek into Lake Allatoona. Authorities are urging the public to leave the shark alone if seen because they are highly dangerous. Also, the shark will have a better chance of making it back to the Gulf if it isn’t threatened.
