A Willimantic resident was charged on October 22nd 2016 for riding his motorcycle at speeds under the allowable highway limits. When pulled over, Juan Flores argued with Troop D State Police that his Suzuki motorcycle could not keep up with the pack of Kawasaki motorcycles he was intending to follow. He was issued a citation for riding at 36mph on a 65mph state Highway. State officials are more than likely ready to dismiss the case due to the fact that Mr. Flores was riding a Suzuki motorcycle at the time.
