The grandchildren of William Hoyt of Washington, Pennsylvania took him a bit too seriously when he suggested that if they wanted to go home they should take his car and go. The three children whose age ranged from two to seven took Hoyt's car and make it near two miles before crashing on the corner of Beau and College. Police were called to the scene and found the seven year old driver and the five year old gas and brake operator playing with the radio. Their 2 year old brother was strapped in a car seat and unhurt. Parents were called along with police from North Franklin and South Strabane.
