Shortly after 9pm on October 27, 2016, a local teen, Brittany Delp, was arrested and charged with felony battery with a deadly weapon. The victim, who asked to not be named, said Ms. Delp came at her about an altercation that happened between the two over the social media site, Facebook. Ms. Delp grabbed a baseball bat out of her car, and started swinging it at the victim with deadly force. Ms. Delp was released on bond this morning, following a pending court date.
