An angelica woman, 33 yr old Nickole Thompson, was arrested in Oak Orchard Ny on charges stemming from a 2 month investigation. DEC officer Charlie Peppin said Thompson had been observed stealing salmon eggs from live salmon her son caught. When officer Peppin tried to apprehend Thompson, she threw her son at ECO Peppin and swam down stream. She was apprehended after a short swim. Authorities say she may have gotten away but her pockets were loaded with sinkers and she can't swim. She will answer these charges in an Albion Ny court.
