Austin Texas: in the middle of the night Texas senators and house members unanimously voted to legalize recreational marijuana setting new legislation into motion for the lone star state. Along with the midnight decision comes full expungement of all criminal backgrounds in regards to previous and current marijuana offenders. Those in jail for possession of marijuana as an example are to be released effective immediately. Texas government officials are looking forward to seeing a new industry rise and excited to finally be a part of the forefront of change in treatment of citizens who take part in the use of marijuana.
