Clay County Sheriffs Office is asking the public if they know the whereabouts of local woman, Jessica Prater.
Clay County says they have been investigating an incident that happened in February 2016.
On February 30th, 2016, Prater was seen walking onto someones property, beating their mailbox with a baseball bat, opening the victims mail, and then setting it on fire.
"It's taken us this long to identify Prater due to the lack of evidence. We obtained video of the incident recently and Prater is clearly seen.", Clay County Sheriffs Office says they have yet to locate Prater. "We've went to all known addresses and have nothing to show for it." CCSO also adds, "We believe she knows we are looking for her, so she may be hiding at a friends. Damaging private property, opening US Mail not addressed to you, and commiting arson are all very illegal and are punishable for up to 3 years in prison."
