Utah movie "Sacred Vow" was a surprise success when it was released online on a website called Christian Cinema, rising quickly as a best seller on the website. As it turns out, "Sacred Vow" broke every record for christiancinema.com. When the distributors saw this success, they submitted the film into the Academy Awards submission. To everyone's surprise, the film has been nominated for four Oscars: Best Director (Rob Diamond), Best Screenplay (Rob Diamond), Best Supporting Actor (Danny Shepherd), and Best Supporting Actress (Paris Warner).
