Angel Hicks, known as author Mz. Wifebeater, landed a $10 million dollar deal with Amazon. She is known for her works of Da Woman of a Wifebeater 1 & 2. Part of her deal includes her new release "12" which will be released to bookstores worldwide January 2017. Hicks is at the beginning of her career and is the first African American to get such hefty deal. We could not get in contact with the author but her publicist did say "This is just the beginning for her. Movies and series are expected to come."
