Bryan Johnson of Naperville, Illinois caught a state record musky on the bay of Green Bay. Johnson, who hired Jerry Huffar of Hurricane's guide service landed this trophy on Saturday 10/15/16. Huffar who credits Adam Walton of Pike Pole Fishing of Edgerton, WI for tipping him with key location where to target these trophies. Johnson and Huffar are waiting for the confirmation if this the state record musky. The current stay record 63" 69lbs caught by Louie Spray on the Chippewa flowage back in 1939. Huffar stated this fish could break the state record by a matter of ounces. Johnson musky was 63" 15/16 and it top out at 70lbs and 4 oz. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources should confirm if this fish is a state record by November 4.
