Montdale resident and Tucker Rocky employee David (Davey) Wolfe was hunting off his back porch early morning Saturday Oct 29. When a doe ran past. He figured a hot buck was chasing her but to his shock joy it was a Bone and Crocket Bigfoot. "I was about to go in for another beer, since I was only on my 9th and it was only 8 am, but as I was about to get up she (doe) came bookin out from behind the garage looking behind her, I immediately thought to myself "there's a buck running her, get ready for a quick shot" then suddenly this giant Squatch come around and I instinctively drew and let the arrow fly! I whacked him center of the chest! He never made it out of the yard.
Wolfe's cousin is doing the taxidermy.
It's his 1st squatch although he's been hunting them since age six and he's 10x that age now.
Wolfe's hanging up the bow and picking up the harpoon as his next endeavor will be Nessy, yep, the Lochness Monster. He's heading out right after retirement. And that's soon.
