On October 28th Texas game wardens were called to a scene where 33 year old Jeremy Brown from northwest Harris County was said to be bragging about a large amount of fish he had caught that morning. Upon further investigation the wardens found these claims to be false as not only had Mr. Brown not caught any fish at all that day, he has been known not to catch any fish at all on nearly 99 of all of his fishing trips. His eldest son was quoted as saying he is very disappointed every time he goes fishing with his father because they never seem to be able to bring anything home. Many local anglers have said that they have seen Mr. Brown at many fishing locations and one even stated they caught him trying to steal fish of his stringer. The investigation is still ongoing but the state hasn't officially said if any charged will be pressed but urges the public to keep a lookout while in the water.
