An Ayrshire woman is wanted in connection with a hit and run accident on the Beith road. Between hours of 1:00am and 1:30am Saturday 29th October a 62 year old woman and her dog were hit by a small black car whilst driving in excess of 60 mph. The woman is in an Ayrshire hospital in a serious but stable condition and police are looking for further witnesses.
The woman's grandson witnessed the incident and police confirmed they would like to speak to a twenty year old Kara Mallon about the incident.
Anyone with further information is asked to contact the police on 101.
