In June 2016 Mr J.K Barber went into contract with Virgin Media for their services providing telephone, broadband (high speed fibre), aswell as a wealth of TV channels including BT Sport who were exclusively broadcasting Champions League and Premiership football matches. After signing said contract Sir Richard Branson decided he would be a scabby old bollix and not pay the TV rights to BT Sport resulting in the annoying fact for Mr Barber that he could not watch his beloved Manchester City apart from the broadband being bog shite. In court Mr Barber's legal "dream team" argued that his decision to switch back to SKY TV was totally warranted due to the fact Virgin Media had not fulfilled the obligations of the contract. Mr Barber was found to be totally in the right and also awarded €250,000 for the psychological damage caused by Barcelona's 4-0 infliction last week in the Nou Camp. Mr Barber declared himself happy with the outcome but worried about City's chances of advancing to the last 16. (Irish Times/Reuters)
