Stratton Blasingame, 20, of Guymon, Oklahoma claims to have seen a Bigfoot within the city limits of Guymon on October 27th around 10:35 PM. According to Blasingame, he was pulling up to the Guymon Wildlife Reservoir to "collect items" from the popular app game Pokemon Go when a large hairy creature appearing to look like Bigfoot was standing at the gate looking at the animals inside. The Bigfoot, spooked by the sudden arrival of Blasingame, took off around the Eastern border of the reservoir. Blasingame pursued the animal up until the moment that a "Charmander" , a fire type lizard Pokemon, appeared on Blasingame's radar on the app. Blasingame broke off the chase of the Bigfoot in order to find the Pokemon, which apparently was located near the intersection of NW 5th and Canyon Street. When asked why Blasingame chose to quit following the Bigfoot in order to capture an imaginary app game creature, his statement was, "I've spent the last 3 months of my life capturing, transferring, and evolving Charmanders in order to get my favorite Pokemon, Charizard (evolved fire type lizard Pokemon of Charmander) and I wasn't going to lose it over some hairy (explicit) monkey!"
