A Limerick man who fled to Australia to avoid prosecution will arrive home this week after finally being caught. Jamie Mcinerney with an address of shanabooly road ballananty has 15 previous charges was finally caught by Australian federal police on Friday. Details of the arrest are still unconfirmed but a source close to mr Mcinerney that he was arrested at his local brothel.
A warrant was approved for the arrest of mr Mcinerney 6 months ago, judge Tom o Donnell granted the warrant after the gardai and dpp gathered enough evidence, although the charges have not been made public. A source from the gardai said he could be looking at hard time.
