Fort Bend County Sheriffs officers shot and killed the man suspected of being the Chancla Bandito. This concludes a nearly month long killing spree where a Latino man has been reportedly stealing women's chanclas and beating them to death with their own sandals.
Joe Rodriguez, 30, was apprehended in a less than climatic shootout Halloween night after witnesses alerted police to a man wallowing in his own pee in someone's yard. Sherrifs have yet to comment on the crime scene, but witnesses overheard Mr. Rodriguez blame it all on "white boy drugs".
