Teessides very own motocross icon Shane Loughman has landed the opportunity of a lifetime after being spotted going dead fast on a dirt scorer over jumps and stuff.
WILVO STANDING CONSTRUCT YAMAHA OFFICIAL MX2 TEAM have offered Shane a ride for the 2017 season as long as he agrees to ride in a chicken suit.
" I know it's not an ideal outfit of choice but I'll do whatever it takes to get on a bike other than a shitty KTM that breaks every time I ride." Loughman told our reporter earlier this week.
Team Manager Tim Mathys explained that Loughman caught his eye finishing dead last at Fatcat motoparc in the summer but saw potential in him. " Shane is a top lad who will do anything to succeed in the sport, I won't go into detail but I mean anything.. Loren is a lucky girl to have a man with such rhythm"
Shane will continue to ride with his trademark 313 number and has been promised a bonus of unlimited kebabs should he place inside the top 15 in his first season under the WILVO STANDING CONSTRUCT YAMAHA banner.
