An American businessman has reported to police that he has lost his belongings, which contained just over £1 million in cash. He has told Kent Police he was about to transfer the money into his British wife's bank account.
Mike Stein, 68, who suffers from bouts of amnesia since a jet ski accident, has told Kent Police he may have left the money, which was in a tan leather briefcase, 'anywhere from the harbour to Dover High Street '.
Kent Police have urged the public to return the briefcase if found.
