Galway adolescent, oisin 'up the rashiönez ' Rafferty, affectionately known by friends as Rashers, was chased, tripped and kicked on the ground on the streets of Dublin after leaving a gay bar with friends. When asked about his ordeal, Rashers said "8 lads chased and tripped me and kicked the shit out of me on the ground. One inch higher on my jaw and I'd be dead". Several witnesses have come forward to say that Rashers was seen crying afterwards. Rashers has since denied this. To add insult to injury, Rashers, a loyal Sinn Féiner and recent virgin, was denied entry to a local Eddie Rockets due to his blood stained face and apparel. Every cloud has its silver lining though, as Rashers' injuries have healed and has reportedly entered a new and happy relationship.
