There was further talks held today between the government and ASTI. There has still been no agreement over poor pay conditions for teachers. It's been announced that ALL schools that are part of the teachers union will remain CLOSED after midterm break. This is due to health and safety concerns, parents are being asked not to send children to school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week, as an agreement has still not been met between the teachers and the government. It is hoped that an agreement will be made soon and students will return to school.
