Wirral man caught stealing sand from golf course bunker

Liam Walsh 28 from the Wirral has been caught by owners of a golf course filling several buckets with sand and putting them into the boot of his car. Mr Ben Dover the owner of the course Is believed to have been cutting the greens in the course when he came across Mr Walsh. In a statement mr Dover said he couldn't believe what he was seeing and why someone would take the sand from the bunker instead of going to a public beach. It is believed that Mr Walsh will be questioned by the police as to why he was taking the sand from the course.
