St Mary's Catholic College's Executive Headteacher, Mr T Quinn, has been fired over concerns of children's health and 'unusual' school rules.
A School Of Governers' inspection has taken place after 700 signed a petition to ban jumpers, one of the new rules. Now, students who attend the school no longer require a jumper as a number of students have fainted and vomited.
Another rule has been took out of place, known as 'The One Way System' students have been making their way through the school in a one way order, causing students to be late and placed on detentions.
Ofsted have decided to sack Mr Quinn, however St Mary's will remain an academy. Mrs C Veitch, an assist headteacher, also faces being dropped from the school as she made some of the new rules. Mr A Boyle will remain headteacher, however in the New Year a replacement will be found for Mr Quinn
