Due to the fall in the Pound following Brexit as well Austerity Cuts! The Welsh Assembly have announced starting from Monday 7th November 2016. Children at all Welsh Schools will be charged 10p every time they use the toilets at school.
Education officials have stated that, each pupil will have a 'Smart Card' to swipe every time they use the toilets in school. At the end of each month the parents will receive an invoice which they will be able to pay by Direct Debit.
It was also added that to make payments more affordable; Parents will be able to pay a Flat Rate of £25.00 for the whole year. Or pay monthly.. The money will be used to pay for extra and out of school curriculum activities.
