Locals in the mersey street area of East Belfast have put a name to the recent happenings in the area,. Thomas Godden, from the mersey street area is said to be the man responsible. Previously a pupil of Ashfield Boys' High School and having lived in the area his whole life, he is said to have been seen looking through people's windows late at night. People are surprised by this with a 30 year old man describing it as "sickening". Others have said that they never expected this from this prepetrator due to having a seemlingly quiet nature. He hasn't be seen by family and friends for a few days and he's thought to be hiding from local paramilitaries who have made it known if he is seen in the area action will be taken.
