With the 2016 election just wrapping up in a historic way for the United States, a lot of the public/media focus is on the post-election aftermath of riots and protests in major U.S. Cities. The young supporters of the Democratic Party, those between ages 18-25, are the most upset about the outcome of the election.

As we look ahead though, we know about the ongoing conflicts overseas, particularly in Mosul, Iraq and Syria. The Obama Administration and the Russian Federation, as well as the Assad regime, never successfully made progress towards peace and a focus on ISIS fighters in Aleppo.

Some evidence in the past has suggested that the Obama Administration has actually been funding the ISIS terrorist group inside Syria to use ISIS fighters to fight the Assad regime is sort of a proxy-army style fashion. Evidence includes reports from Iraqi Military said they found U.S. Made missiles inside of an ISIS base inside Mosul, Iraq. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/nov/2/iraqi-army-finds-isis-us-missiles/

“Has the United States been arming the Islamic State? Is that why President Obama has been slow to attempt to defeat them? Inquiring minds want to know. The Iraqi army, during its advance on Mosul, has found multiple U.S. made TOW anti-tank weapons in ISIS weapons depots. Apparently the weapons have been routinely dropped from aircraft resupplying the area, reports Iranian news agency Alalam. The reports have not been verified”, said Todd L. Wood of The Washington Times.

This method of U.S. Foreign policy has been used before. Most recently in Libya, where several sources say, Benghazi was actually a weapons trading compound that transferred arms to terrorist groups opposed to the Qaddafi regime. After this method takes place, ISIS takes a new stronghold in the area, spreading it's caliphate even more.

Syria is very important to ISIS leadership because of its geographic location. Syria serves as sort of a gateway from the Middle East into Europe. The world has seen the spread of extremist behavior into Europe already with attacks in Brussels, throughout Germany, and France as well. If Syria falls to the so called “moderate rebels” in Syria, the terrorist group use the stronghold to proceed into an invasion of Europe.

Putin and Assad have both responded after the election of President Elect Trump, both stated that they were looking forward to better relations between them and the U.S.
