After a year of ups and downs mr Matthews finally ended his full week drought. He managed to successfully turn in Monday to Sunday which is something he hasn't achieved since 2015. In a interview in Scotland earlier this week reece commented " its been a tough test, especially Saturday morning I really struggled, but with the help of my family and great friends around me, iv been able to get back to my grafting ways".
We also visited kingsmead school and informed mr Hilton about reece achievements, with disbelief he enlightened us with his thoughts " Reece's attendance has never been his strongest aspect, but Deep down iv always known that mr Matthews has had the potential to shine, and by the looks of things reeces clouds are finally disappearing and the true light of reece is shining through".
Reece is going for a new PB this weekend by trying to perform a 14 day run, many speculate this is too much and he will fall at the last hurdle, but in the form he's in at the moment nobody's knows.
