Following the shock decision to change Griffeen Valley Park into a golf course, a petition has been started requesting the acronym AGP to be changed to PGA to attract more golfers to the estate. "We don't want to change the name from Arthur Griffith Park" said one local resident who wished to remain ananymous, "We just think it would be nice to associated with the oul golf" added Mr. Mulligan.
House prices around Clane went up thanks to the K Club and many are hoping Griffeen Valley Golf Club might do the same.
