Local students from Israel Putnam School in Meriden got to meet their favorite The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.
The celebrity and a few co-stars showed up today to help raise money as well as awareness to how important education is.
Norman Reedus opted to have a raffle in which the winner would be awarded with a photo opportunity with him.The lucky winner of that raffle was Mrs. Danielle Schwartz, needless to say she was ecstatic/
" i am his number one fan and the fact that i won this opportunity is something I will never forget, he's a very humble man, I'm so happy my nephew and nieces got to be a part of this as well" said Schwartz.
The social was from 10-11:30 this morning.
There were autographs, ice cream, free books and plenty of cheers, an event never to be forgotten.
