It is believed to be the first time a travelling theme park of this size has ever come to the town

Mr Taylor hopes the event will be the first time out for the family firm’s refurbished ‘Star Flyer’ following safety tests.
He is also hoping to bring a Ghost Train and as many as 30 rides as well as food and games stalls.
Among the other rides planned are a Waltzer, Reverse Bungee, Fun House, Freak Out, dodgems, the Miami Ride, Twister, Bomber, Tagada, Wild Mouse, Top Scan and inflatable slides.
Around 30 Taylor’s staff will come to the town with the fair

David Taylor, 60, the fourth-generation boss of the 120-year-old firm, said: “I am really excited to bring a theme park to the town"

The theme park will open every day at 12pm and close at 10:30pm and will attract hundreds of visitors
