Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. also known as "Lil Wayne", well renowned rap/hip hop artist is now behind bars.
Carter was arrested on the morning of March 16, 2017 after a several month long investigation lead to Carter being associated with human trafficking of young women.
Authorities have evidence of Carter kidnapping young women, mostly oriental, and allowing his friends and associates to give him several thousand dollars in exchange for the young women whom were then forced to participate in sexual acts.
Carter is now being held in a federal facility awaiting trial as the investigation continues.
