Chelsea Grin vocalist, Alex Koehler, announced today that the band is splitting up indefinitely. The rest of the band, or label, have yet to comment. Here is the statement from Alex:
"We started Chelsea Grin as us just playing this brutal music that we loved. I just don't feel like we have that fire or brutality in us anymore. I truly miss the way we used to be. But that won't ever come back. So... With that being said, Chelsea Grin will finish out our current tour and then that will be it. No more Chelsea Grin. Thank you to all my friends and family that have supported us but even more so, thank you to our fans. We lived our dream because of you guys. I'd especially like to give a shoutout to this kid, Jacob, that would always come to out Florida shows. He was a prime example of why got to where we were."
