After a wave of Internet hatred went Netflix's way after the teaser trailer for the Netflix remake of Death Note was released, Netflix have officially decided to ban all anime for a few months to 'get back at Internet trolls'.

Shows including the original Death Note, Attack On Titan, The Seven Deadly Sins, Tokyo Ghoul and RWBY are going to be removed from Netflix for 3 months to ensure that people realise that they have bitten the hand that feeds them.

The owner of Netflix, Reed Hastings, said this about the anime ban:
"As an anime fan myself, I am disappointed we have had to go this far. This isn't just a case where we can say 'If you don't like it, don't watch it' - our company has received a few death threats. Because this has gone to the extremes, we have gone to our extremes."

The Death Note show is released later this year.
