26 year old St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong broke down at a press conference where he pledged to donate all but 0.192 percent of the remainder of his $25.5 million dollar contract to charity. The .192 figure being his Spring training batting average in the Grapefruit league this season. When asked why he would chose such a thing Wong replied "If I can't do better than a buck ninety two, then I don't deserve the bucks". Wong went on to say he is considering several charities and civic causes for his donations including Toys For Tots, the Mud Shark Preservation Society and the Edge Water Inn Restoration Fund.
