An Edenderry man has been caught red handed robbing turf from local bogs.
Pio Ennis with an address in greenwood park in Edenderry is to stand trial in the following weeks. Locals are outraged with Mr Ennis. One local said there was a time you could leave the turf out all year and nobody would go near it. But not nowadays not when theres the likes a Ennis on the prowel!
Mr Ennis was arrested on scene and the turf is been sent off to get analysed by experts above in the lab to see how many bogs Mr Ennis took a few sods from.
Locals are urged too keep an eye out for Ennis and if seen to report to local gardai.
