A recent Harvard study found that 9-10 people that are classified as obeses regularly take in more calories than burned in the course of a day. This caloric intake has been found to decrease when spoons and forks are made legal for purchase by individuals deemed overweight.
The practice of banning the eating utensils has shown positive results in the countries of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Ethiopia and Syria. It's only a matter of time before these bans start catching on in the glutton ridden countries of the western world.
