Rowan County Man Wanted On Federal Gun Charges

ROWAN COUNTY, NC (WSOCTV)-- Rowan County sheriff’s deputies say they need your help finding a man who is considered armed and extreamly dangerous who has been selling and trading unregistered gun.
The Federal government, Rowan County Sheriff, and the Alcohol Tabaccoo and Firearms Administrators say Chad Michael Hancock, 44 is wanted on federal warrants for:
· 5 counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver of assault riffles.
· 8 counts of Possession of unregistered guns.
· 1 count of Possession of a firearm without permit.
· Carrying a concealed weapon.
· 4 counts of selling guns to undercover.
· 5 counts of crossing state lines with illegal guns.
And several other Federal offenses.
This has been a on going investigation over the past two years. Rowan County Sheriff Office are applying for a search warrants of Hancock's residents 1750 Pine Ridge road China Grove NC, today April 20 2017. Several attempts have been made to contact Hancock at his home with no from Hancock himself. The Rowan County Sheriff Department stopped at Hancock's residents today April 20 2017 because they spotted someone outside. It was Hancock's 22 year old daughter whom was idenitifed and claims she does not know where Hancock could be and that she has not seen Hancock in a couple of days. Hancock has been unable to be located at this time.
Deputies say Hancock is a white male, 6 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 270 pounds.
He has brown hair, blue eye.
