After school dismissed on Monday at Galesburg High school, officials noticed a trash can was on fire in one of the science labs. When authorities arrived, they noticed thick heavy smoke coming from the front of the building. Firefighters have confirmed the fire was set intentionally and the building has suffered extensive smoke damage. No more details were available at this time if school would be cancelled tomorrow.
